PSS worker- Chhim

Main Tasks:  

  • Assess psychosocial needs of beneficiaries using Tabitha tools 
  • Design a tailored action plan to respond to the psychosocial needs of each person 
  • Ensure the implementation of a quality MHPSS intervention for beneficiaries showing psychological distress. 
  • Build connections and create a dynamic between older people. 
  • Disclose protection risks and potential abuse they are exposed to. 
  • Conduct PSS sessions with the older people. 
  • Facilitate the participation of the older people in the activities conducted in the club. 
  • Organize and facilitate group sessions for beneficiaries. 
  • Help recruiting beneficiaries to participate in the activities.
  • Refer beneficiaries to specialized services when needed. 
  • Participate in Tabitha training as needed and when requested. 
  • Document any protection concerns or any incident/ act that causes harm to beneficiaries and report them promptly to the Project Manager and to the MHPSS TC. 
  • Respect principles of data protection and security, and all guidelines of documentation within the project and keep data records.

  • Maintain complete individual files for each person visited, including detailed descriptions of services provided. 
  • Other tasks as required by the management
