Main Tasks:
- Provide leadership the day-to-day operations of the Shelter and supervise the implementation of the shelter activities.
- Provide technical support to the social workers team.
- Manage day to day activities for the Shelter residents and coordinate logistics.
- Ensure that all Shelter activities are in compliances with Tabitha Code of Conduct
- Conduct regular assessments regarding the physical needs (including food, office supplies, maintenance, etc.) of the shelter and reports the challenges and achievements.
- Manage, monitor and track expenses according to the budget; making sure all expenditures are in-line with budget allocation
- Maintain accurate and organized records and beneficiaries’ files that are in line with data management protocol standards, monitor the database, and support the officer in case file audit procedure.
- Contribute to and regularly update service mapping of service providers within the area of intervention to ensure that the team is informed of all relevant and available services through identifying opportunities for coordination with different NGOs for future Cooperation.
- Coordinate all activities within the center and ensure all activities have the tools, space, and resources necessary to carry out the activities
- Ensure people’s access to impartial assistance in proportion to need and without discrimination
- Actively contribute to the planning process of programs in collaboration with other departments
- Plan and organize regular need assessments and actively participate in developing a need assessment framework and tools
- Perform, as required, other tasks directed by the Programs Department
- Commitment to the confidentiality of the Shelter location and programs and priority of the safety of women and children in the Shelter.
- Ability to work with beneficiaries from diverse backgrounds (Lebanese and Refugees)
- Attending in person or online trainings on safe identification and referral, PSEA, employee engagement, shelter management and PFA
- Report to the line manager in a timely manner with a high standard of accuracy.
- Attend meeting when necessary and share the tools with other staff members.
- Visit the main office in Dora when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology or any related field. Masters is a plus
- 3 -5 years of experience in SGBV program management
- Fluency in English and Arabic. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, honest, highly responsible, and punctual.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability with a high sense of humanitarian work.
