Social Worker

·         Refer eligible cases to services within the project or within the center. ·        Refer the refugees to lawyers if their case requires it. ·         Provide moral support and recreational activities to ensure that refugees are able to survive the very difficult experience of being in an asylum country. ·         Refer traumatized cases to a psychologist for counseling and assistance. ·         Identify vulnerable families or individuals whether to benefit from humanitarian and medical assistance based on criteria of selection if any. ·         Provide humanitarian assistance through the program services and existing Dorcas services, or offering a referral to another NGO that can meet the needs of the vulnerable refugee or lebanese cases. ·         Conduct home visits to assess the needs of the families. .         Conduct outreach activities ·         Conduct field visits depending on the follow-up to be provided to each beneficiary (hospital, school, …) ·         Conduct working groups with women, men, youth and children ·         Accompany beneficiaries  during recreational activities ·         Coordinate with other partners working with refugees and vulnerable lebanese to avoid duplication and provide better services
