Main Tasks:
- Provide social counselling and case management for child protection cases, women and girls survivors of SGBV and persons with specific needs.
- Conduct Individual and family follow ups, and conduct home visits or other field visits when needed.
- File and report on the followed cases regularly and abide to the national SOPs and Tabitha internal forms.
- Refer cases to other services internally and externally using the adequate form and modality
- In charge of preparing and executing group sessions: recruitment of the participants, preparing the material and the sessions plan, follow up on the logistics (place, transportation, refreshments) and coordinate with other team members, using the assigned M&E tools, delivering the activity, referring to other services if the need is identified, reporting on the activity.
- Identification of potential of beneficiaries for psycho-social activities, legal sessions through outreach, word of mouth and/or receiving people who access the center.
- Preparing activities material in line with the curriculum provided.
- Conducting psycho-social activities for children inside –and sometime outside- the centre.
- Delivering awareness sessions
- Participating in evaluation focus groups and meetings.
- Filling up daily, weekly and monthly forms and maintaining records (registration, monitoring, referrals and reporting on implementation) in collaboration with other team members.
- Receiving the beneficiaries in the community center or calling over the hotline, inform them about the services, fill in social assessment form and refer them to the adequate service.
- Coordinating with the lawyer of MSD (the partner implementing jointly with Tabitha)
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams and trainings/meetings such as child protection or mental health.
- Attending sector working group meetings mainly in Tripoli, when needed in Beirut
- Protect individuals from harm to themselves or to others.
- Assist in the preparation and the delivery of celebration event, advocacy events and other collective activities.
- Collaborate with local community-based organizations and stakeholders and network to receive and send referrals
- Report to the line manager in a timely manner with a high standard of accuracy.
- Visit the main office in Dora when necessary
