Through INARA, USAID seeks to increase the supply of electricity generation at the community level and to increase the cost-effectiveness, eco-friendliness, sustainability, and reliability of power supply, while clarifying and strengthening the enabling environment for renewable energy-based electrical power generation.
The project will run for 5 years and started in September 2021. The position is based in Beirut, Lebanon. This position will start on February 2022 as a full-time employee contract after a trial period contingent on performance and USAID approval.

Role and Responsibilities
Major tasks include but not limited to:
Lead office operations as it relates to equipment, facility, security, vehicle movement, safety and compliance
Lead procurement and inventory of all goods and services under INARA to ensure compliance, quality control and due diligence
Lead logistics as it relates to shipment, delivery of materials timeline invoicing, sourcing, custom control, storage.
Sign off price and quality of specifications, review purchase orders, ensure timely invoicing and negotiate best price options
Track, monitor all equipment, furniture, IT procured under INARA
Track deadlines, timeline, and propose alternative solutions as needed for field technical operations
Oversee office and staff security as it relates to INARA and IMC guidelines.
Oversee inventory management software and develop systems for tracking and oversight
Any other task requested by INARA leadership
Qualifications:
BA in Business or equivalate
Around 8 years of experience in logistics and procurement
Arabic and English
Previous experience in logistics and inventory management
Outstanding negotiation skills and communication
Problem solver with analytical mindset
Adaptability and flexibility
