The Electrical Engineer will report to the DCOP and Infrastructure Technical Lead.
The project will run for 5 years and started in September 2021. The position is based in Beirut, Lebanon. This position will start in November 2021 as a consultancy contract, and then shift to a full-time employee contract after a few months contingent on performance and USAID approval.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical Engineer from an accredited university
- At least 5 years’ experience in RE (both in design and Implementation)
- Prior experience in integrating PV with Genset and Battery Storage System
- Experience working on microgrid preferred
- Experience in using software such as PVSyst (or equivalent)
- Experience with GIS (Geographic Information System)
- Broad knowledge of the Energy sector in Lebanon
Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Arabic
