RENEWABLE ENERGY INTERNSHIP – INARA PROJECT

Through INARA, USAID seeks to increase the supply of electricity generation at the community level and to increase the cost-effectiveness, eco-friendliness, sustainability, and reliability of power supply, while clarifying and strengthening the enabling environment for renewable energy-based electrical power generation.

The internship is based in Beirut, INARA office, Naccashe, Lebanon. This Internship will start on June as part-time intern.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Work on internal and external reports including formatting and editing. 
  • Research and report on topics relevant to renewable energy, energy efficiency and solution financing. 
  • Attend technical site visits and write site visit reports. 
  • Attend internal and external meetings and write meeting reports (MoM). 
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and programming software is a plus. 

 

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduated or currently enrolled in 3rd year or above in a bachelor's program in Economics or Engineering. 
  • English proficiency. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Good communication skills – Verbal and written in Arabic and English.

 

Compensation:

IMC Worldwide Lebanon will cover transportation costs ($125/month).
