ECODIT is seeking expressions of interest from highly motivated experts for the anticipated USAID/Lebanon Agriculture and Rural Empowerment (ARE) activity. This is a five-year project expected to begin in late 2020, and is poised to activate economic growth throughout rural economies in Lebanon. Through interventions to the agriculture sector and other fields, ARE is designed to realize economic potential, stimulate job creation and increase income generation for marginalized communities in and throughout rural Lebanon.
ECODIT seeks highly qualified local candidates for the following illustrative positions anticipated for this project. Candidates will ideally have extensive experience working on agriculture and tourism development projects funded by U.S. Government agencies (e.g. USAID, DOL, and/or DOS), other bilateral agencies (e.g. DFID, GIZ, SIDA), and multilateral agencies (e.g. UN, IADB, and/or the World Bank), including in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with superb attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Residency in Lebanon.
• Fluency (written and verbal) in English and Arabic is required; fluency in French is desired.
