  Requirements/Job Objectives: Secondary Education (Baccalaureate or TS) and a minimum of 3-5 years working experience as driver. Experience with an international organization, donor agency or Embassy is required. Demonstrates a client-oriented approach, high sense of responsibility, courtesy, tact and the ability to work with people of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds. The driver is responsible to provide timely, reliable, and safe driving services while ensuring high accuracy of work, including the up-keep of the vehicle fleet. Only short listed candidates will be contacted. Job Description:  Ensures provision of reliable and secure driving services. Ensures availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, map of the city/country, first aid kit and necessary spare parts. Ensures meeting official personnel and visitors at the airport, assisting them with visa and customs formalities arrangements when required. Ensures driving office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel incl. officials and  visitors during field visits  and participate in planning of field visits when required and assess availability of vehicles accordingly Ensures proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle (maintenance and technical service) and liaise with garages Ensures cost-savings through proper use of vehicle through accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs, provision of inputs to preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans and reports. Manages and coordinates transport requests for visitors and staff Upon request by the supervisor: Effective communication and coordination with the Integrated Embassy for transport requests (visitors, partners, delegations). Upon request by the supervisor: Assistance to the project offices (Chekka, Zahle) for transport services in times of increased workload Development and implementation of tools for best transport planning and monitoring; Monitoring and analysing of the fleet fuel consumption Monitor road access and safety and inform staff and Security Focal Point on potential problems and critical situations Ensures that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accidents Payment of bills Independent collection, postage and distribution of mail, letters, documents and other items. Assist in specific tasks related to the daily running of the office Performance of simple administrative tasks on request (photocopying, etc.)
