Embrace Mental Health Clinic Programs Manager

A.  GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Embrace Mental Health Clinic Programs Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of Embrace’s Mental Health Center and its adjunct programs, including the Mobile Mental Health Clinic (MMHC) and the One-to-One Online Clinic. The role ensures the delivery of high-quality, accessible mental health services while overseeing administrative, clinical, and operational functions.

 

The EMHC Programs Manager provides leadership to both clinical and administrative teams, ensures program effectiveness, optimizes resources, and upholds Embrace’s commitment to beneficiary-centered care. In collaboration with the Director of Training and the Director of Residency, the EMHC Programs Manager also supports therapists-in-training and residents, ensuring supervision, adherence to clinical standards, and a strong learning environment that promotes professional growth and excellence.

 

B.  MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Oversight and Program Management

  • Lead the design, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Embrace’s mental health programs, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
  • Ensure the quality, confidentiality and compliance of beneficiary medical records.
  • Monitor and track KPIs related to the quality of service (GAD, BDI, beneficiary satisfaction…)
  • Oversee and strengthen the operations of the Mobile Mental Health Clinic
  • Provide guidance to clinical staff regarding beneficiary care and decision making.
  • Address and resolve beneficiary complaints in a timely and client-centered manner.
  • Ensure compliance with program policies and identify gaps and implement improvements to maintain service excellence.

 

Administrative & Operational Management

  • Supervise and mentor Embrace MH clinic administrative staff and volunteers  and the Project Coordinator of the MMHC in their daily functions.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs including scheduling efficiency, cancellations, no-show rates, resource utilization, and beneficiary satisfaction.
  • Oversee staff attendance, timesheets, leaves, and invoices, ensuring compliance with HR policies and financial policies.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention of the centre staff in collaboration with HR.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee the evaluation of adjunct programs (clinical training program and residency program) in collaboration with respective directors, ensuring it meets organizational and sector-wide mental health goals.
  • Coordinate operational aspects of training programs for therapists in training and residents in collaboration with respective directors.

 

Strategic growth and sustainability

Contribute to the development of new projects that strengthen service delivery and financial sustainability.

 

C.  QUALIFICATIONS:

Critical Skills:

  • Medical degree in psychiatry or graduate degree in a business management in health-related field (Family Medicine, Public Health, Masters in Clinical Psychology)
  • Minimum of 3+ years in mental health or health program administration, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, program development, and evaluation kills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaboratively across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.

 

Desirable

  • Experience working in humanitarian or crisis-affected settings.
  • Familiarity with Lebanese mental health systems and services.

D.  TIME COMMITMENT

40 hours per week.

 

E.  REPORTING LINE

The EMHC Programs Manager reports to the Head of Operations.
