GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Graphic Designer plays a key role in the creative process by conceptualizing, visualizing, and producing engaging visual content that supports the Communications Department’s objectives. This includes translating communication needs, plans, and requests into compelling visual assets while ensuring full alignment with Embrace’s brand identity and guidelines. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, responsiveness to feedback, and the ability to maintain visual consistency across all communication channels.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design engaging and non-triggering visual content for Embrace’s digital platforms, including social media posts, campaigns, and awareness materials, in English and Arabic, in alignment with communication objectives and brand guidelines.
- Develop creative visual concepts and propose original graphic assets, including illustrations, icons, and visual elements, while aligning with Embrace’s safeguarding, confidentiality, and ethical storytelling standards.
- Produce high-quality communication materials for both digital and print use, including reports, newsletters, banners, brochures, presentations, billboards, event materials, and outreach assets.
- Design and format Embrace’s annual report and other key publications, ensuring clarity, visual consistency, and professional presentation.
- Collaborate closely with the Communications team to translate content needs into compelling visual outputs and deliver designs within agreed timelines.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to Embrace’s visual identity, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality standards across all communication materials.
QUALIFICATONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within NGOs and social impact organizations environments
- Strong proficiency in professional design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Knowledge of AI design tools is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with Canva and collaborative design platforms, with the ability to create and adapt templates for team use while maintaining design quality
- Proven experience in designing communication materials across digital and print formats, including social media, reports, publications, and campaign materials
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative, professional, and diverse design work.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

TIME COMMITMENT
- 20 hours a week with occasional in-office presence.
