The Project Coordinator with a focus on Awareness and Outreach is responsible for managing and coordinating Embrace’s projects, emphasizing awareness and outreach activities. This role involves overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while organizing and executing impactful community outreach initiatives to diverse communities. The position requires expertise in project management and the ability to design and deliver awareness and outreach sessions tailored to diverse populations and communities.
1. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination
- Develop and implement project workplans, ensuring timely delivery of objectives and activities.
- Track project budgets, schedules, and progress, preparing periodic status reports for stakeholders.
- Monitor project indicators and develop mitigation plans to address any risks or delays.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including partners, operational organizations, and donors.
- Maintain and archive all documentation related to project activities.
- Oversee procurement and tracking of materials or resources needed for project activities.
- Conduct research on global models for project implementation and adapt them to the local context.
Awareness and Outreach
- Design, coordinate, and execute community awareness and outreach activities integrated into project plans.
- Develop and adapt educational content for awareness sessions and trainings tailored to various target audiences.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to conduct capacity-building workshops and outreach events.
- Liaise with subject matter experts to ensure content quality and relevance.
- Build and implement proactive community outreach strategies aligned with project objectives.
- Recruit, train, and oversee outreach officers to ensure high-quality delivery of activities.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
- Develop and implement reporting tools to monitor project and outreach activities, ensuring quality standards.
- Capture and maintain metrics and indicators for outreach and awareness activities.
- Prepare narrative and evaluation reports analysing project impact, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Coordinate with the research and business support departments to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with community entities and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of project and outreach activities.
- Coordinate internal and external communications related to project and outreach initiatives.
- Foster partnerships and build networks to expand Embrace’s reach and impact.
2. QUALIFICATIONS
Critical Skills
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Clinical Psychology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management and at least 1 year in community-based awareness activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications and project management tools.
- Technologically savvy with knowledge of global trends in outreach and project implementation.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; French is an asset.
