Working at the intersection of partnership development, donor engagement, and strategic representation, the Manager leads high-level outreach and representation efforts to position Embrace as a trusted and impactful mental-health actor in Lebanon and the region. The role collaborates closely with the Grants Manager, Managing Director, and Communications Team to ensure that partnership-building efforts are aligned with programmatic priorities, funding pipelines, and visibility objectives.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Partnership Development & Management
- Identify and cultivate high-impact institutional partnerships with international donors, philanthropic foundations, UN agencies, and corporate entities aligned with Embrace’s mission and strategic objectives.
- Conduct strategic outreach to secure new funding opportunities and maintain a dynamic pipeline of prospective donors and partners.
- Lead the preparation and follow-up of partnership meetings, donor briefings, and concept discussions in coordination with the Managing Director.
- Negotiate and draft partnership agreements, MOUs, and frameworks for collaboration.
- Translate partnership discussions into concrete funding proposals and grant commitments, in close coordination with the Grants Manager and program leads.
- Track and forecast partnership pipelines, ensuring up-to-date records of engagements, opportunities, and funding outcomes.
- Ensure mutual value creation and long-term collaboration through regular partner communication, progress tracking, and joint learning.
Strategic Representation & Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent Embrace in national and regional coordination platforms, donor roundtables, and policy dialogues to enhance the organization’s institutional visibility.
- Position Embrace as a trusted and credible partner within Lebanon’s mental-health, humanitarian, and development ecosystem.
- Strengthen strategic relationships with government counterparts, UN agencies, embassies, and development partners.
- Collaborate with the Communications Team to ensure that advocacy and visibility initiatives effectively reflect Embrace’s impact and align with partnership goals.
- Support the Managing Director in executive-level engagement and high-level meetings with donors and partners.
Strategic Planning & Internal Alignment
- Work closely with the Grants Manager to align partnership-building with funding priorities and proposal pipelines.
- Provide donor intelligence and contextual analysis to inform proposal design, strategy development, and positioning efforts.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Embrace’s fundraising and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Gather partner feedback, lessons learned, and success stories to strengthen donor reporting and stewardship.
- Identify how partnerships can support program innovation, scale, and policy influence across Embrace’s workstreams.
Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Managing Director, and works closely with the Grants Manager, Communications Team, and relevant Program Leads.

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Business Management, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in institutional fundraising, donor relations, or strategic partnership development, preferably within the non-profit, public, or development sectors.
• Proven track record of securing or managing funding partnerships with institutional donors, foundations, or private-sector partners.
• Strong understanding of Lebanon’s mental-health, humanitarian, and policy landscape.
• Experience in policy engagement, coalition-building, or advocacy is an asset.
