Americans for Democracy & Human Rights in Bahrain (ADHRB) is seeking a highly-motivated, organized, passionate, and hard-working Documentation Intern.
Responsibilities
The documentation intern will:
- Compile information on violations of human rights in target GCC countries, primarily Bahrain, in a standardized documentation form in Arabic. The information provided in the form is then used for ADHRB’s advocacy and legal efforts, including to the United Nation’s Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
- Translate documents, including the standardized form and online articles from Arabic into English and from English into Arabic;
- Perform administrative and other duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Fluency in Arabic and English
ADHRB offers full-time (40 hours per week) as well as part-time (15-20/hours per week) internships.
ADHRB is not responsible for arranging accommodations or facilitating visa applications for prospective candidates. ADHRB will contact only those candidates who are extended an interview.
