1. Objective

The main objective of “The CHASE youth empowerment program” in Majdel Anjar is to Improve the resilience of individuals, households, communities, and systems in the face of economic and climatic shocks and stressors affecting the food security, nutrition and wellbeing of Lebanese and displaced women and men in vulnerable areas. 

Specific objectives:  

• Improve ability of vulnerable groups to participate in resilience programs and increase their access to employment and income   
• Improve   performance   and   inclusiveness of   food   systems   
• Enhance management of natural resources and enhanced climate adaptation practices 

Fair Trade Lebanon (FTL) is looking for an animal production supplier to provide beneficiaries with the equipment and tools they need to improve their farming skills and activities.

2. Technical Specifications & Requirements

• The vendor must have a valid permit from all relevant ministries.

Tools Specifications

Requirements & conditions

• FTL will pay the VAT in LBP based on the official exchange rate approved by the government on the invoice date.
• The service provider must deliver all the items to Majdel Anjar
• The service provider may only submit offers with available items from the above list

3. Evaluation

• The bidder’s evaluation process will consider following with assigned weights:

4. Payment Terms

• Payments will be made only through bank transfer or bank cheques
• The price will be paid in USD while the VAT will be paid in LBP based on the official exchange rate on the date of the invoice.
• The vendor should have a fresh USD bank account.
