Community Coordinator

Deliverables:

  • Develop a user-friendly database that could easily be used and updated throughout the project lifetime and after its completion.
  • Regularly fill in the customized format for farmers and producers with data about stakeholders, suppliers, exporters, location, products, bi-products, price, shift in prices and causes, quality. This format should be updated regularly to monitor the market movement and to extract the opportunities in the different value chains.
  • This database should be made available to the municipalities and beneficiaries, and be placed under the responsibility of identified stakeholders who will be trained on the database for usage even after the project closing.
  • Support the identified stakeholders to maintain the database as a handover activity.
  • Managing and maintain the coordination of the community needs and assembly with the assistance of the Quality Control officer.
  • Coordinating with the suppliers, re-filling the stock, and following up on the payments with every supplier.
  • Handling the Website and the backend, adding new pictures, modifying prices ...
  • Coordinating with the photographer concerning new pictures for new products on the website.
  • Handle Inbound New Producers (Contact and application).
  • Coordinating with Acquisition concerning new producers, contacting them and initiate induction process (receiving products, pictures, putting on the website, and etc..)
  • Coordinating with marketing if any new item is added on the website in order to push it on social media.
  • Liaise with Accounting for sales, invoices, payables and new entries.
  • Assist Data Analyst in assembling Sales reports and pushing requests/suggestions to Marketing
  • Handling the hotline for any help needed with the customers.

Qualifications

  • University degree in business, economics or related fields
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant field
  • Proven knowledge of Fair Trade principles
  • Proven experience in data management and analysis
  • Proven experience in rural development projects
  • Drives results
