Beib El Chouf Project Coordinator - Chouf

Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing Beib El Chouf community kitchen operations to ensure high standards are met and ensure the distribution of the produce.

Job duties:

  • Identify and contact small scale farmers and women processors.
  • Inspect the raw materials received and prepare their payments.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department and develop the budget spending plan.
  • Maintain a database of women processors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate and communicate daily with the food safety expert to follow the ISO standards in the community kitchen.
  • Create a detailed timely work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the work process.
  • Assess the women’s needs for training and organize trainings and workshops to improve the quality of their produce.
  • Distribute the tasks and responsibilities for the team.
  • Follow up with the procurement department to ensure the purchase of raw materials needed and keep the inventory up to date.
  • Develop, implement and suggest the marketing strategies to reach the strategic objectives.
  • Develop the marketing plans and the segmentation to reach the target.
  • Ensure compliance and implement process to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for all logistics matters.
  • Perform others duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agri-business or any other relevant diplomas. Masters is a plus. Proficiency in English and Arabic (writing, speaking, reading). French is a plus. Microsoft office skills.

Experience:  From 3 to 5 years.
