MEL Focal Point

The MEL Focal Point will be responsible for overseeing all Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
(MEL) functions of the partner for the project, in close coordination with Right To Play’s MEL
team and the partner organization’s internal MEL staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring

• Track all activities implemented by the partner organization across locations.
• Follow up with facilitators, teachers, and relevant staff to ensure timely and accurate
• collection of activity-level data.
• Ensure proper and consistent use of all monitoring tools and templates.
• Conduct regular data checks to ensure completeness and quality.

2. Reporting

• Ensure all reporting is accurate, complete, and submitted within agreed timelines.
• Consolidate and submit daily data for emergency response indicators through
• ActivityInfo.
• Report daily on Makani activities through the BMA system.
• Compile and submit monthly indicator-level data for the Makani project through PRP.

3. Assessments and Evaluation

• Ensure all required curriculum-level assessments are conducted (including pre/post-tests
• and other knowledge assessments).
• Follow up with staff to ensure timely completion and proper data entry of assessment
• tools.
• Analyze assessment data and produce summaries as required.
• Support the use of assessment findings to inform program improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Statistics, Development Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant MEAL experience, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
