FEMALE is a community based non-profit grassroot feminist organization that works towards a just and safe world for women and girls in all their diversities through driving social-behavioral changes, movement building, knowledge production and dissemination, and policy reform.
Major Responsibilities:
• Design and execute advocacy and communication strategy aiming to support the draft law FEMALE developed for protection from online GBV.
• Identify key advocacy opportunities and partnerships through stakeholder mapping and engagement plan
• Strengthen collaboration with feminist networks, civil society, and policymakers.
• Represent the organization in advocacy meetings, coalitions, and public forums.
• Support in developing and implementing digital and offline advocacy campaigns and work related to the developed law.
• Plan and coordinate media advocacy and policy engagements.
• Join related meetings and consultations when requested by FEMALE management.
• Submit a final report including advocacy activities, key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
Key Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in youth or feminist activism or communication or programs management;
• Experience in Projects and initiatives design and planning, both on programmatic and financial levels;
• Knowledge of gender and familiarity with the human rights and feminist work approaches;
• Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English is mandatory;
• Excellent ability to write reports, briefing papers, and research in English;
• Excellent skills in time management and problem-solving.
