Audio-Visual Officer

Fe-Male is a civil feminist collective working with women and girls to eliminate injustice through building young feminist movement, empowering agents of change, and campaigning together against discriminatory norms and policies.

 

Job Responsibilities:

- Script, edit and produce still photography, video and other audio-visual pieces for Fe-Male as needed.- Collect videos, photos and audio interviews during Fe-Male's events and activities when assigned by the management- Conduct research and come up with creative ideas for audio-visual production 

- Create multimedia content for social media and visibility items designs

- Provide editorial guidance, ensuring messages conveyed through audio-visual products are sharp, compelling and current

- Handle outsourcing of audio-visual products as needed by identifying the best creative production partners, and maximize the quality of execution

- All material produced must be done so in accordance with Fe-Male’s informed consent principles, communication guidelines, and protection policies – approved by the co-directors.

- Archive and organize all raw footage of videos and photos captured - Tests all equipment to determine technical quality of recording, audio and lighting prior to production- Oversees the security, operation and maintenance of equipment utilized in production and editing of material.- Manages Production Studio and production equipment.-  Ensures compliance with Fe-Male’s code of conduct, gender and child protection policies.
