Background:
Fe-Male is a civil feminist collective working with women and girls to eliminate injustice through building young feminist movement, empowering agents of change, and campaigning together against discriminatory norms and policies.
In partnership with ABAAD, Fe-Male is currently looking for a “Project Coordinator” for a project aiming to ensure a better quality of life free from violence for women and children in Lebanon through contributing to improved protection, prevention and service provision.
Major Responsibilities:
The consultant is expected to deliver the following tasks:
Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for the donor and the field staff;
Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of Fe-Male, and partners;
Ensure the work quality of the consultants through regular follow-up;
Monitor project activities and coordinate work with consultants in the project;
Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables;
Responsible for submitting activity reports, meeting minutes, and any other reports to the project management;
Ensure close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners and donor to guarantee smooth implementation of activities and achievement of results;
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants;
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports;
Prepare Terms of References (ToRs) for consultants and trainers;
Follow-up on the selection process;
Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities;
Implement project activities in a timely manner ensuring good quality action and credible outcomes;
The position holder may be required to undertake other duties that are broadly in line with the above key duties.
Skills:
Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic;
Strong oral and written communication skills (Technical Reports in English);
Organized;
Ability to work in a team and flexibility to take on new tasks;
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel;
Dynamic leader with creative problem-solving skills, particularly in challenging situations;
Gender sensitive and familiarity with the human rights approach.
Work experience:
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Proficient in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, outlook etc.)
