Woman Self-Defense Coach

FEMALE is a grassroots feminist organization dedicated to fostering a just and safe world for women and girls in all their diversities. Through initiatives focusing on social-behavioral changes, movement building, knowledge production and dissemination, and policy reform, FEMALE strives to advance feminist causes.

 In line with FEMALE’s continued commitment toward adolescent girls. FEMALE will implement a program titled " Young Voices Challenging Inequalities" targeting adolescent girls aged 13 to 17 to learn Football, Basketball, and self-defense in Beirut, Nabatieh, Beqaa and Tripoli.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct 24 training sessions for the selected team over 4 months.

• Teach various self-defense techniques, including strikes, blocks, and grappling

• Guide situational awareness and threat assessment

• Organize mock scenarios to simulate real-life self-defense situations

• Offer feedback and personalized coaching to team members

• Keep abreast of the latest self-defense tactics and incorporate them into training

• Ensure team members understand the legal aspects and ethical considerations of self-defense

• Foster a supportive and empowering team environment

• Deliver 24 training sessions over 4 months (Between June and September 2024)

• Maintain documentation of training activities.
