MERA Developer - 264 days

1. Background

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), through the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), has implemented the Mobile EPI Registration Application (MERA) and its associated platform to enhance immunization data collection, surveillance, and monitoring at national level. To ensure effective development, maintenance, and full technical integration of MERA, MoPH requires a qualified MERA Developer to support continued system improvement, reliability, and performance.

2. Work Assignment

The MERA Developer will carry out, but not be limited to, the following tasks:

 Technical Support & Maintenance

• Conduct routine maintenance, software updates, and troubleshooting to ensure system performance, user-friendliness, and data integrity.
• Perform continuous editing and optimization of existing code based on user feedback, system evolution, and new functional requirements.

 Monitoring & System Stability

• Provide technical monitoring of the implementation and functionality of the MERA users’ application.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Conduct quality assurance testing before deployment of new modules or bug fixes.

Data & Dashboard Support

• Support the team leader and IT department in building dashboards, including data structuring, visualization logic, and integration of relevant indicators.

• Ensure alignment and compatibility with MoPH data reporting systems and data security standards.

Reporting & Coordination

The MERA Developer will report directly to the IT Chief Officer and coordinate closely with:

• MERA Project Team

• EPI Information Management Unit

• Platform and Data Integration Support Team
