Project Description:
Young Politalks is a project managed by Fiftyfifty and funded by the Australian Embassy in Lebanon. It aims to engage Lebanese youth from different political backgrounds in socio-political dialogues and discussions to foster confident decision-making processes and raise awareness on Gender Equality. By promoting non-sectarian, non-violent, and non-discriminatory communication, this project creates a platform for constructive dialogue and empowers youth to shape the nation's future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a well-structured PowerPoint presentation covering relevant topics such as identifying different leadership styles, developing personal leadership qualities, effective team communication, and conflict management within teams.
- Develop comprehensive training materials tailored to participant needs, incorporating practical exercises and case studies.
- Train participants on methods and concepts related to leadership and communication, utilizing interactive teaching strategies.
- Develop a pre-training questionnaire to assess participants’ baseline knowledge and tailor training content accordingly.
- Implement interactive post-training methods to evaluate participants’ understanding and skill acquisition.
- Write a detailed report summarizing training outcomes and the results of pre- and post-training assessments to measure effectiveness.
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions to facilitate participant retention and practical application of skills.
- Teach participants about effective communication strategies, leadership principles, and the importance of active civic engagement.
- Emphasize the social and moral responsibilities of leaders and citizens in community engagement.
- Educate participants on various communication tools and techniques and the significance of managing community expectations.
- Specify conditions and best practices for successful participation in leadership and communication activities.
- Prepare individuals to become responsible citizens equipped to contribute meaningfully to democratic societies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in leadership and communication skills development.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and delivering comprehensive training programs.
- Expertise in content and curriculum development, with a focus on leadership education and communication strategies.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills to effectively convey complex concepts and engage diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to coordinate and deliver training sessions effectively.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate training needs and support program delivery.
