The overall outcome of this project is to improve and raise the awareness of both state institutions and civil society organizations (CSOs) on aid transparency and accountability, and to equip them with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to engage in more effective aid monitoring practices, ultimately paving the way for greater collaboration, improved public trust, and enhanced governance of humanitarian and reconstruction aid.
The Advocacy Expert will be responsible for:
- Designing a targeted advocacy plan with clearly defined objectives, messages, target audiences, and channels.
- Contributing to and overseeing the production of audience-centered communication materials (e.g., briefs, infographics, messages), including coordination with providers of artistic services (graphic designers, etc.).
- Planning and facilitating bilateral advocacy meetings with selected state institutions, civil society organizations and other relevant stakeholders.
- Organizing and leading one workshop with CSOs to present findings and develop joint positions or recommendations.
- Coordinating with subject matter experts and the project coordinator to ensure alignment with the assessment and policy note findings.
- Monitoring and documenting advocacy activities and preparing a final advocacy report.
