FISTA (First Step Together Association), in collaboration with Restart Center, is organizing a training/workshop on Children Affected and/or are at Risk of being Involved in Armed Conflicts, within the framework of “Inspire, Empower, Transform: Increasing Resilience of Disadvantaged Communities in North Lebanon.” This is project under the AKFAR 3 program, funded by the European Union and managed by the Office of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform (OMSAR).
The program will consist of 3 (two-day) training modules, targeting a total of 100 fieldworkers, protection officers, as well as representatives from different agencies (ISF, LAF, CIMIC), NGOs, Municipalities, etc. Accordingly, each module will consist of 33 participants.
In view of the above, First Step Together Association is looking for an expert to provide 3 training sessions on either/or of the below-mentioned sessions:
1) The Definition of Children Involved or Prone to be Involved in Armed Violence.
2) The International Framework
3) Child Protection Principles and Main Actors
