Special Educator (Orthopédagogue)

First Step Together Association is looking for a Special Educator to work within an AFKAR III, EU funded project “Increasing Resilience of Disadvantaged Communities in North Lebanon.” The selected candidate will have to: Conduct individual sessions to Lebanese and Syrian children/youth presenting Learning Difficulties , Behavioral Disorders and/ or intellectual disabilities Conduct psycho-education sessions with parents of children being followed-up. Participate in the global evaluation conducted by the multidisciplinary team Draft detailed reports for each child. Participate in the Team supervisor sessions conducted at the center. Skills: Follows FISTA center policies and by laws Believes in concepts of human rights Respects each team member’s position Able to adapt to special situations or demands from supervisor Good communication skills Ability to work with patients from different backgrounds (cultural, ethnic….) Excellent command of English Ability to write reports
