Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Train players in skills related to the game, including transmission, forward and backward strikes, rotation, and speed. 
  • Enhance the fitness of players in accordance with the requirements of table tennis for PWDs, including standing and sitting categories. 
  • Provide training twice a week to improve gameplay techniques and strategies. 
  • Develop training plans tailored to the levels and classifications of the players. 
  • Conduct various training sessions, including individual and group exercises. 
  • Monitor players' performance during training and matches, and provide personalized feedback. 
  • Prepare players mentally and psychologically for tournaments, offering support and guidance to each player. 
  • Foster positive relationships among players to enhance cooperation and team spirit. 
  • Ensure players adhere to the rules and classifications of the game. 
  • Maintain attendance records for players during training and matches. 
  • Prepare periodic reports on players’ performance and development. 
  • Coordinate continuously with the administration to address players' needs, including sports equipment, wheelchairs, and other resources. 
  • Track the specific classifications of each player based on their disability, using a workbook approved by the Lebanese Paralympic Committee. 
  • Promote sports values such as commitment, discipline, and fair play. 

 

Requirements for the position:

  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, basic software.
  • Advanced knowledge of the rules and classifications of tennis table for PWDs. 
  • Effective communication and leadership skills. 
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different challenges. 
  • Strong knowledge of sports regulations for PWDs.
