ForumZFD (Forum Civil Peace Service) is a German NGO currently working in 14 locations around the globe to support people involved in violent conflicts on the path to peace. ForumZFD has been working in Lebanon since 2009 envisioning a Lebanese society where people interact with each other in a respectful, non-violent way. The 16 staff members are committed to peace through three different program areas: Capacity Development, Community Mobilizing and Dealing with the Past. Working together with local partners, forumZFD jointly develops local capacities within civil society and supports their projects for non-violent conflict transformation. Responsibilities of the intern include assist in the management of social media accounts, developing advocacy materials such as audiovisuals, fact sheets, reports, liaising with local, regional and international organizations, editing and uploading forumZFD’s website, draft media advisories, news stories and press releases and newsletters in English and Arabic, assist in organizing events, assist in taking photos and videos for media coverage, archiving and providing assistance to the team in administrative processes.
Location: Forum Civil Peace Service, Taleb Hobeiche Street, Makdessi Bldg, 2nd floor (Badaro, Beirut).
