Project Coordinator

forumZFD is working in the field of Civic Peace and Conflict Transformation. In 2010 forumZFD opened an office in Beirut (Badaro). We are seeking candidates to fill the position of Project Coordinator.  Job Vacancy: Project Coordinator (capacity building & training)   Closing date for applications: 14th of October, 2012 Work will commence on the 1st of November 2012 Location: Mathaf, Badaro  Volume of work: 40h/ week   The successful candidate will be implementing PM&E trainings with special focus on Non-Violent Conflict Transformation and organize and implements Workshops within the capacity building projects in forumZFD in Lebanon. Tasks include: Preparing and coordinating activities related to the current projects. Maintaining good relations with partner organizations. Drafting progress reports in time. Contribution to the (strategic) development of the program. Planning and overseeing the budget of the activities being implemented. Implementing trainings. Designing new projects on Conflict Transformation in Lebanon. Implementing, monitoring and evaluating projects. Supporting Public Relations. Drafting Arabic letters and requests to Lebanese authorities and  translating documents from Arabic into English (and vice versa). forumZFD seeks a person with experience in training, facilitation and project planning and implementation. It is therefore expected that applicants are able to plan and prioritize the workload in order to meet tight deadlines. Requirements: At least 2      years working experience in training and project management preferable      with NGO background in Lebanon. Master Degree      in related field. Ability to      work within an international team. Willingness to      spend one – two days a week in other regions in Lebanon and work with      different communities. Good      communication skills. Excellent spoken      & written Arabic and English.
