Supervisor/Reports to: Director of Fraternity Association
Duty Station/Location: Burj el Barajneh (Beirut) and Al Buss (Tyr) Palestinian and Wadi el Zaineh camps
Working Days: 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) from 8:00 until 16:00
Project: Strengthening access to quality and inclusive education services for the vulnerable boys and girls of the Palestinian refugee communities in Lebanon Donor: UNICEF In partnership with TDH-Italy.

Position Aim:
Plans and coordinates educational programs. Develops curricula, prepares relevant presentations and materials, and organizes and delivers and/or facilitates classes, workshops, seminars, and other training services. Provides student advisement and associated services as appropriate. Evaluates the education process (Employees and Students)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop academic programs.
- Establish performance goals and objectives for the center and for teachers.
- Keep different records related to the education process.
- Monitor students' progress.
- Keep teachers trained and motivated.
- Formulate mission statements.
- Visit classrooms to evaluate teaching methods and provide performance standards for teachers and other employees and prepare the corresponding reports.
- Prepare reports on student attendance and performance.
- Prepare reports on students' performances and initiating test preparation for students and teachers.
- Responsible for disciplining students.
- Designing evaluation processes and innovative evaluation tools, analyzing data, and preparing reports
- Conduct information/ training sessions for staff
- Carry out any other necessary tasks to ensure the success of the project.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or advanced degree in any field related to education, (kindergarten studies or specialized education) in addition to teaching diploma.
- A minimum of 2-3 years working experience in Non-Formal Education organizations
- Strong knowledge on the Lebanese Education system and the Non-Formal Education regulations.
- Good knowledge of core principles of Children Rights, Do No Harm, as well as Education in Emergencies minimum standards
- Previous experience in designing education curricula and building educators’ capacities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaboration with multiple stakeholders and staff members.
- Sharing of key humanitarian values with cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and oral English skills.
- Skilled at using basic computer programs.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Previous experience in NGO and humanitarian field is a necessity.

- An understanding of the complex refugee environment.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
Salary Range: 750 $ (Fresh Dollars)
