Job Title: Learning Support Teacher

General Information about (organization) Fraternity Association for Social and Cultural Work announces the need for a Learning Support Teacher. To work within the project:

 “Strengthening access to quality and inclusive education services for the vulnerable boys and girls of the Palestinian refugee communities in Lebanon”- The project is implemented in partnership with TDH-ITALY - Funded by UNICEF.

• Job Title: Learning Support Teacher
• Duty Station/Location: Wade el Zeine
• Working Days: 5 days a week
• Project Duration: from 1st of April to 31st of December 2022  

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and educating students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care.
• Responsible for submitting daily timesheet to the line manager.
• Assigning the needs of students and using knowledge and specialized skills to support students’ learning;
• Working with selected students, on individual and small group basis, in learning support interventions specifically designed to support their needs; and the basic skills in, Arabic, English and Math.
• Providing objective and accurate feedback and reports as required on students’ achievement, progress and other matters.
• Controlling and maintaining the equipment and contents available in the Wade el Zeine center.
• Keeping an ongoing positive communication with the parents.
• Undertaking any other duties, as may be required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of experience working in Active and Inclusive Learning support with (grade 1 to 6)
• Bachelor’s degree of one of educational majors (English, Arabic, Mathematics, Sciences) or teaching diploma
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic languages.
• Experience in computer skills "computer programs", experience in social networking sites and creating educational videos.

 Salary Range : 400 USD/Month, Full time

Job Procedures:

• Shortlisted Candidates will be invited for a Technical Test (60% of total grade) & interview (40% of total grade) conducted in English.
• Priority will be given to fully qualified registered Palestinian refugees’ candidates
• Only the top 05- ranked-candidates in the technical test will be invited for the interview.
