Job Title: Learning Support Teacher

General Information about (organization): Fraternity Association for Social Cultural work announces the need for Learning Support Teacher for our three centers. To work within the project:

 - The project is implemented in partnership with TDH-ITALY and UNRWA- Funded by EU- MADAD.

• Job Title: Learning Support Teacher
• Duty Station/Location: Borj el Barajneh, Wadi el Zaineh, and El Bus Center
• Working Days: 3 days a week
• Project Duration: from 1st of April to 30th of June  

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and educating students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care.
• Responsible for submitting daily timesheet to the line manager.
• Assigning the needs of students and using knowledge and specialized skills to support students’ learning;
• Working with selected students, on individual and small group basis, in learning support interventions specifically designed to support their needs; and the basic skills in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English, Arabic and Math.
• Providing objective and accurate feedback and reports as required on students’ achievement, progress and other matters.
• Controlling and maintaining the equipment and contents available in the center.
• Keeping an ongoing positive communication with the parents.
• Undertaking any other duties, as may be required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of experience working in Active and Inclusive Learning support with (7th 8th or 9th grades) and experience in teaching UNRWA curricular all subjects.
• Bachelor’s degree of one of educational majors
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic languages.
• Experience in computer skills "computer programs", experience in social networking sites and creating educational videos.

• Salary Range: 300$ (Two hours per day / 5 days per week)

Job Procedures:

• Shortlisted Candidates will be invited for a Technical Test & interview conducted in English.
• Priority will be given to fully qualified registered Palestinian refugees’ candidates.
• Only the top 05- ranked-candidates in the technical test will be invited for the interview.
