Psychosocial Support Coordinator - (PSS Coordinator)

Job Title: Psychosocial Support Coordinator

Duty Station/Location: Burj el Barajneh (Beirut)

Working Days: 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) from 7:30 until 2:00 

Project Duration: 6 months (Extendable)

 

EDUCATION DEGREE DETAILS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

•          A minimum of (2-3) years of experience.

•             Experience in working on Palestinian programming issues is a strong asset.

•             Good verbal, written, and presentation skills.

•             Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

•             Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

•             Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

•             Knowledge of file management and other administrative procedures.

•             Ability to work on tight deadlines

 

Salary Range: 500$ - 700 $ per month

Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

 

 

Project Description: 

 

Fraternity Association is looking for an experienced and motivated PSS Coordinator to join their team. He/She will be an active member in BRAVE Project - Building Resilient and Vibrant Environments - that is being implemented by the Arab Resource Center for Popular Arts (ARCPA/AL-JANA) – as a Lead Organization – with the support of UNICEF. The project is being implemented all across Lebanon with 6 local sub-partners.  The objectives are:

  1.  To build the capacities and skills of children, youths, CSOs, and caregivers in marginalized societies in Lebanon.
  2. To promote tolerance and acceptance among host communities and all different communities residing in Lebanon.

BRAVE activities reaches out to all regions through the active collaboration of the implementing partners, and in cooperation with a network of organizations working among marginalized communities in Lebanon, mainly Palestinian camps and gatherings.

 

Main Duties:

  • Supports all Psychosocial Support Program Components in terms of management, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation;
  • Supports the development of monitoring and evaluation tools;
  • Provides technical support on Gender-Based Violence, Child Protection, and Psychosocial Support to Fraternity Association’s project officers and project field teams;
  • Develops, progress reports, and final reports for supervised and complementary components
  • Facilitates or supports the organization of project-related training, workshops, and events;
  • Participates in project meetings.
  • Supports correspondence with lead partner.
  • Prepares monthly reports;
  • Maintains close coordination with the Reporting Officer;
  • Represents Fraternity Association in related events as requested;
