Vacancy Announcement - Program Manager Tasks The Program Manager coordinates and monitors activities of FES Lebanon. In this, he/she works under the supervision of and in close coordination with the Resident Director. Among the tasks of our future colleague are: Drafting and designing of national, regional and international activities of FES Lebanon Implementation and monitoring of activities, either FES own activities or those organized in close partnership with national, regional or international partner organizations or institutions Follow-up of content and administration, including financial monitoring of projects Profound Analysis of current affairs, continuous monitoring of media coverage; providing advice to the Resident Director; media presence is encouraged depending on qualification Providing consultancy, training and / or expertise for FES partner organizations  Required Qualifications Advanced degree (MA, MSc or Diploma) in Political Science, International Relations, Social Studies, Law or a related field At least 3 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in a CSO or an International Organization Strong demonstrated interest in political developments, both nationally and internationally Knowledge of and commitment to the basic values of Social Democracy Solid demonstrated knowledge of the political, social and economic context of Lebanon Strong communicative, interpersonal and intercultural skills Excellent writing skills IT affinity preferable Written and spoken proficiency in Arabic (native speaker) Written and spoken proficiency in English; proficiency in French and / or German is an additional asset   About FES Lebanon The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) is a non-profit organization committed to the values of social democracy and is the oldest of Germany’s political foundations.
