Campaign Officer

Frontiers Ruwad is a non-profit and apolitical NGO that aims at enhancing the human rights of marginalized groups in Lebanon. Its main programs focus on forced migration and statelessness. It is seeking a campaigner for its stateless project. There are estimated to be tens of thousands of stateless persons in Lebanon who do not hold any nationality.  The causes of statelessness are multiple and vary between historical roots and administrative practice. One significant cause is failure to access birth registration procedures.  The Campaign Officer will work closely with the Project Director. Responsibilities include: Plan and
 execute campaign project work in order to achieve the Association’s objectives Coordinate and manage the implementation of all campaign activities, including logistical arrangements, information gathering and facilitation, field trips Undertake specific campaign activities, which could include public communication activities, media work, and the use of legal approaches to issues. Develop a digital communication plan and content to increase awareness of and interaction with the campaigns on social networking sites Manage the production of campaign materials Manage and maintain online content to promote the campaign’s objectives Establish communication and collaboration with relevant communities, partners and stakeholders and build alliances; Engage all staff, members and supporters in campaign activities Conduct research as required; Provide regular reporting on campaign activities; Qualifications: Bachelor in media or relevant social sciences field 2 to 3 years of work experience in advocacy or campaigning with NGOs, INGOs or UN agencies Excellent computer skills Proficiency in English and Arabic; French will be an asset   Excellent command of social media tools Excellent organizational skills Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.  Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, meet deadlines and be detail oriented. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism Commitment to human rights issues.
