Disability Program Adviser

Main Tasks:

• Coordinate and collaborate effectively with other members of the FPS PwD team
• Ensure the provision of high-quality technical content
• Collaborate with technical staff from FPS, MoSA, MoPH, and others on the development of the technical content of the Disability & Health training curriculum for PHCC staff
• Assist in the development of the additional Disability & Health teaching materials needed for the Training of Trainers
• Collaborate with technical staff from FPS and MoSA on the formulation of the tools used in the nation-wide assessment (Disability & Health Situational Analysis) of Syrian refugee and Lebanese PwD access to and utilisation of health services
• Provide support and guidance to the field team on PwD issues
• Liaise with key PwD stakeholders in Lebanon, including MoSA, MoPH, and others on all technically-related issues
• Develop and maintain effective partnerships and collaborations with OPDs
• Represent FPS in relevant stakeholder meetings, with a particular focus on strengthening relationships in the humanitarian sector
• Provide strategic expertise to FPS on disability issues
• Participate in the development of disability-related proposals
• Attend the weekly PwD team meeting

Deliverables:

• Provision of high-quality technical content and feedback in the creation of the Disability & Health training curriculum (including associated ToT materials and report writing)
• Provision of high-quality technical content and feedback in the creation of the Disability & Health Situational Analysis (including report writing)
• Monthly report of activities
