Psychiatrist - ZAHLE

Function effectively as a member of the Community Mental Health Team (psychotherapists, psychiatrist, CMH nurse, receptionist) in the coordination of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) service delivery.

Collaborate with the CMHC staff on the development and implementation of each patient’s coordinated recovery-oriented mental health care plan

Complete the appropriate CMHC intake, assessment, and ongoing monitoring in accordance with CMHC policies and procedures for each consultation

Be familiar with and work to consistently follow the treatment and timeframe guidelines within the condition-specific care pathways

Be familiar with the use of all assessment tools, their uses, sensitivities/specificities, cut-off points, and use limitations

Provide timely responses to case management staff regarding patients accessing mental health services at the CMHC

Provide appropriate diagnostic services to patients in need

Assist CMH team members in the development and implementation of preventive mental health measures in the clinic and throughout the local community

Actively build self and others’ capacity
