Communication Officer

RET Liban is looking to hire one (1) Communication Officer who will be responsible for the communication activities through different communication channels.

In coordination with the operational and management teams, the Communication Officer will implement, coordinate and supervise all operational communication activities.

The Communication Officer will be based in Northern Bekaa and will be expected to focus on the following tasks:

• Managing media & social media activities related to this project;
• Conducting training on the responsible use of Social Media and how to technically benefit from SM;
• Managing content production and diffusion, including visibility materials;
• Building capacity of field staff and village committees in communications;
• Establishing contacts with the national media, propose ideas and facilitate field visits for national, regional and international media, and ensures the monitoring of national media and social media;
• Developing a mapping of key local media (journalists, bloggers, photographers, and cameramen) and maintains regular relations with them;
• Evaluation & reporting on communication activities;

RET Liban is implementing a 3 years agricultural program (food security and social stability) in Nortehrn Bekaa (Hermel-Qaa- Arsal Labiueh-Chaath and Harbata)

The project will focus on Lebanese and Syrian farmers and farm workers.
