Finance & Admin Assistant

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Finance Coordinator, under the guidance and support of the National Coordinator.   The incumbent will perform the following duties:     Assist in managing the petty cash and follow petty cash expenditures and payments to suppliers and service providers in accordance to RET finance and procurement policies. Verify integrity and conformity of supporting financial documents Establish at the end of each month the cash count sheet Be responsible for a strict adherence to the accounts codes set forth in the Chart of     Accounts Assist in the preparation of staff and consultant contracts and  related documents Assist in keeping administrative records and personnel files Organize and file financial information and sensitive documents Assist in organizing international travel (purchase of air tickets, booking of hotels) Perform other duties assigned   Qualifications Minimum qualification/degree in finance or related field Minimum of 2 years of related experience Previous experience in an NGO/International organization is a major asset Sound knowledge of basic book-keeping Excellent communication and diplomacy skills Excellent organizational skills including the ability to strategically prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to work flexibly and under difficult circumstances Fluent in Arabic, English and/or French
