Logistics Officer

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager. The incumbent will perform the following duties:   Plan and manage the logistics of all RET Liban programme activities based on identified needs and resources allocated; Develop an efficient, cost effective and transparent  logistical support system; Ensure, within the team, respect and compliance of logistical procedures used; Manage all of RET Liban assets (cars, motorcycles, computers, etc.); Maintain an efficient inventory system for procured goods and materials, including office equipment; Maintain a database of reliable vendors for supplies, services, and goods; Manage all repairs (vehicles, offices, guest house, etc.) that will be necessary in strict contact with the Programme Manager and Finance and Administration Officer; Facilitate the movement of personnel in the field; Act as RET Liban security focal point in terms of planning, preparation and implementation of security plan, and monitoring of ongoing security situation; Perform other related duties as required and at the request of the Programme Manager Qualifications  Minimum  3 years of related experience Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills. Advanced computer skills, specifically in MS Word, Excel Ability to travel to other project implementation locations. Languages: Arabic: Fluent, English and/or French: Good command of language (written and spoken)
