The project is Funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ), through RET Germany, and implemented by GATE Lebanon
Under the project "Improving Food Security, livelihoods, and inclusion of women and vulnerable groups, and promoting gender equality in Northern Lebanon," funded by BMZ through RET Germany in cooperation with GATE Lebanon, a program is being implemented to support farmers in Akkar in improving their agriculture practices to reduce their costs and increase their income.
Duties:
Design and install a M&E system that will:
Update data on Activity Info on a monthly basis.
Follow up data entry on Kobo for clean records.
Data entry on as-needed basis.
Compile Weekly Reports from the Field team.
Prepare Monthly Reports, Mid Term Reports, and Final Reports for all programs.
Manage and update database (beneficiaries' attendance) and generate queries, reports, and analyses.
Conduct qualitative surveys (Pre-Test, Post Test, Behavioral improvement) and generate analysis.
Attend coordination meetings with implementation Team regarding the M&E Plan.
Conduct field visits and collect Lessons Learned, Beneficiaries success stories and testimonials, and Attendance sheets.
Develop and utilize data visualization tools to present M&E findings effectively.
Provide training and support to field staff on M&E processes and tools.
Responsible for developing and monitoring the implementation of the M&E evidence (forms, reports, visual aids, evaluation, etc.)
Other tasks as requested by the Program management
Requirements:
A Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and implementing Monitoring & Evaluation system in addition to experience or specialty in Gender equality and Gender working with communities.
Holding Bachelor's Degree (Business Management, Social Science, Agriculture or any related Field.
Advanced level in Excel and Information Management Systems: Database management (data processing and analysis) and information presentation techniques (graphing, charting, tabling, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to foresee problems and initiate appropriate action;
Strong report writing skills;
Experience in working with different project tasks within deadlines.
Experience in developing and implementing gender-sensitive M&E frameworks.
Experience with NGO work
Experience in working with communities and rural areas is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Arabic
