Monitoring & Evaluation (M&e) Officer

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager. The incumbent will perform the following duties:   Monitor and evaluate all RET Liban projects in accordance with their objectives; Ensure the preparation of all narrative reports in a timely manner: collect, synthesize and analyse data and prepare regular reports in collaboration with the Programme Manager; Ensure that all activities are implemented in accordance with the objectives of RET Liban and that all project indicators are met in a timely manner; Manage and develop the database of beneficiaries; document and disseminate lessons learned and best practices, organize and lead exchange workshops with partners and relevant authorities; Conduct surveys among beneficiaries and their communities in the areas of intervention of RET Liban, collect testimonies of beneficiaries, etc. ; Contribute to the preparation of proposals for new projects in collaboration with the Programme Manager; Contribute to the planning of new projects by identifying objectives, expected results, performance indicators, monitoring requirements, assumptions, and risk indicators in collaboration with the Programme Manager; Assess the continuing relevance of projects and identify unmet needs in collaboration with beneficiaries, partners and authorities; Ensure that RET Liban's programme is guided by the INEE Minimum Standards for Education: Preparedness, Response, Recovery , as well as the INEE Pocket Guide on Gender and Conflict Sensitive ; Perform other related duties as required and at the request of the Programme Manager Qualifications  University degree in related field Minimum 5 years of related experience Proven experience in the development and implementation of M & E structures and performance criteria; training in monitoring and evaluation of projects would be an asset; Excellent analytical and synthesis skills Excellent understanding of donor guidelines and expectations Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Advanced computer skills, specifically in MS Word, Excel Ability to work flexibly and under difficult circumstances Good understanding and knowledge of  INEE Minimum Standards for Education: Preparedness, Response, Recovery; Experience in the education sector, and education programs for peace, and/ or experience working with youth and women would be an asset;  Languages: Fluent English & Arabic
