Reporting Officer

The main objective of this position is: Ensure that data on program beneficiaries, processes, progress and performance are effectively collected, entered, analyzed and documented, in a way to inform timely decision making and the adoption of sound corrective measures. The incumbent will work under the guidance and support of the Program Manager.

• Period: 1-year contract
• Location of the training: RET Liban office – Ashrafieh/Beirut

   

DUTIES:
The incumbent will perform the following duties:

• Develop the program M&E action plan in consultation with the Program Manager and revise it periodically as required
• Develop assessment tools, analysis plans and data entry spreadsheets
• Provide training to relevant staff members
• Undertake regular visits to the field to support implementation of M&E and to identify where adaptations might be needed
• Enter data in Activity Info
• Prepare consolidated progress reports for project management including identification of problems, causes of potential bottlenecks in project implementation, and providing specific recommendations
• Contribute to production of proposals and concept notes for new projects
• Perform other Monitoring & Evaluation duties as required

   

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Undergraduate degree in Statistics,  Education, Social Sciences, or related field
• At least 2 years pf proven experience with planning, design and implementation of M&E systems; M&E methods and tools, and data analysis
• High-level of computer literacy
• Technical report writing skills
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English
• Strong personal, interpersonal and communication skills
• Good strategic and analytical thinking
• Flexibility in responding to urgent needs and tasks
• Willingness to undertake regular field visits
• Experience working with NGOs is an asset
