The Non-Governmental Organizations Initiative (NGOi) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) offers a convening platform for the NGOs to engage in face-to-face and virtual events that build bridges, provide better understanding for its stakeholders, create common grounds, and foster collaboration.
The seminar on “Compliance & Legal Management for NGOs” is part of the convening platform activities during which topics on the NGO’s legal framework and identity, legal compliance, as well as the NGO's establishment and termination will be discussed.
AUDIENCE: Local and international NGOs’ leadership/leadership’s representatives, lawyers, and law students interested in familiarizing themselves with the main legislation, establishment, functioning, and termination of NGOs.
