GHI Academy Manager

Manage and further develop and expand the GHI Academy offerings including the Global Health Learning and Development (GHLAD) platform

This will entail the following responsibilities:

• Ensure that the academy activities/initiatives feed into the mission and vision of the GHI capacity building arm
• Design and plan the overall strategy and development of the academy (financial sustainability, etc.)
• Work closely with the programs and initiatives officer and program coordinators to develop relevant offerings and ensure the progress and sustainability of the academy
• Identify, develop and manage content for the Global Health Learning and Development (GHLAD) platform including: massive open online courses (MOOCs), webinars, and diplomas
• Develop, coordinate, monitor and/or supervise the activities of the academy including workshops/in-person trainings
• Develop content for the GHI newsletter (GHI LENS)
• Ensure that all updates are covered through social media and the program webpage

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• Master’s in Public Health or Business preferred, with at least 4 years of experience in smart learning, capacity building and program/ project management
• Willingness to learn and handle communication tasks
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines 
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic skills
• Good writing and communication skills
• Research skills and writing an asset
• Monitoring and Evaluation experience an asset
