OPEN CALL FOR DESIGNERS!!

Are you a designer who is interested in digital fabrication for your prototyping needs? Are you working on a design project or idea that requires prototyping, especially using 3D printing / scanning, laser cutting, or CNC Milling? If yes, this call is for you. TECH-TASMEEM, a joint collaboration between the ArD TechLab at AUB (Department of Architecture and Design, MSFEA), and FANTASMEEM, the design-related project of the Goethe-Institut Libanon, allows local designers access and use of the ArD TechLab facilities and equipment.

Awarded designers from this grant call will be able to:

• Using the ArD Techlab facilities for prototyping and fabricating for free (including material costs)

• Accessing all the machines available in the ArD TechLab (including 3D printing, 3D Scanning, Laser cutting, & CNC Milling)

• Getting assistance and guidance from the Lab supervisor when needed

• Enhancing their digital fabrication skills and experience through tutorial workshops
