Arabic Teacher

We are looking for a qualified Arabic Teacher for the Primary Cycle for the upcoming academic year (2026–2027). The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate Arabic language instruction, fostering a love for the language, and supporting students in developing strong reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

Please note that the school is located in Hammana. Therefore, only candidates residing in the Upper Metn region will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive Arabic language lessons aligned with the school curriculum and standards.
• Develop students’ literacy skills, including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
• Use creative teaching strategies, storytelling, and activities to enhance language learning.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into lessons.
• Assess and evaluate student progress regularly.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain regular communication with parents.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Create and sustain a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
• Identify students needing additional support and provide appropriate intervention.
• Encourage a love for the Arabic language and appreciation of its cultural aspects.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
• Prepare student reports and participate in parent-teacher conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Arabic language curriculum and primary-level teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to integrate educational technology into teaching.
