Registered Nurse - PHCC

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide nursing care and assist physicians in delivering primary healthcare services. The RN will ensure efficient clinic operations, accurate patient documentation, and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic nursing activities assigned to patients and assist physicians in consultations and procedures.
• Prepare doctors’ clinics before and after patient visits, ensuring all necessary equipment and tools are ready.
• Welcome and guide patients arriving at the clinic, directing them appropriately for prompt care.
• Assess walk-in patients during triage and conduct pre-consultation nursing assessments, including vital signs and medical history.
• Document all relevant patient data and health information in medical records and inform the physician of any concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and enter data into electronic files (Phoenix) completely and correctly.
• Administer first aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) when necessary; perform EKGs, wound care, and dressing of burns.
• Review and document test results (laboratory, radiology, etc.) and communicate abnormal results to physicians and patients for follow-up or immediate action.
• Provide health education to patients and families, including information on medical conditions, prevention, and prescribed treatments.
• Ensure medical equipment is clean, disinfected, sterilized, and ready for use.
• Perform inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability, proper storage, and proper use.
• Monitor PPE stock and medical supplies, ordering missing items as needed.
• Report any defects or concerns about the readiness of medical equipment to the direct supervisor.

Previous experience in a primary healthcare center is preferred.

Knowledge of using PHENICS (Software) is a plus.
