We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher for the Primary Cycle for the upcoming academic year (2026–2027). The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate science instruction, fostering curiosity, and promoting a love of learning in young students. The teacher will support students in developing observation, inquiry, and basic scientific thinking skills while building a strong foundation in core scientific concepts.
Please note that the school is located in Hammana. Therefore, only candidates residing in the Upper Metn region will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive science lessons aligned with the school curriculum and standards.
- Use hands-on activities, experiments, and inquiry-based learning to enhance student understanding.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into lessons.
- Assess and evaluate student progress regularly using a variety of methods.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain open communication with parents.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and development.
- Create and sustain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Identify students who need additional academic support and provide appropriate guidance.
- Encourage curiosity, observation, critical thinking, and early problem-solving skills.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
- Prepare student reports and take part in parent-teacher conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of primary-level science curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to incorporate educational technology and digital tools into teaching.
